Central Skatepark Membership Payment

Membership is required to skate/ride the park, at a cost of £10 per year.

Terms and Conditions of Use:
• Helmets  must be worn at all times whilst in the skating area and by all participants, regardless of age, ability or activity.
• Central Skatepark recommends that all participants use full safety equipment to further reduce the risk of personal injury.
• BMX bikes must have at least one functioning brake.
• You agree to conduct yourself according to the generally accepted rules of ‘skate etiquette’ whilst participating in
sessions at Central Skatepark and to take due care and attention at all times whilst in the skating area.
• You should not attempt to ride ramps or perform manoeuvres you feel are beyond your skill level.
• In the interest of safety, beginners and those new to ramp riding should take time to familiarise themselves with the
‘rhythm’ of the park before venturing into the main skating area. During busier sessions it is recommended that such
participants stick to the designated beginners’ area. Likewise, experienced participants should avoid using the
beginners’ area other than at the discretion of the duty skatepark supervisor.
• For safety and hygiene reasons no food or drink should be brought into or consumed within the skating area.
• No throwing of objects, including helmets, skateboards, etc. in the skating area or anywhere inside Central Skatepark building.
• Children under the age of 10 must be accompanied by a parent or responsible adult at all times whilst in and around Central Skatepark.
• Smoking will not be permitted inside the The building.
• Trade in or consumption of drugs or alcohol in or around The premises will not be tolerated.
• Abusive, discourteous or otherwise anti-social behaviour in or around The premises will not be tolerated.
• Littering, vandalism or unauthorised graffiti will not be tolerated anywhere in or around The premises.
• If attending school, you agree not to use Central Skatepark during school hours other than to participate in school sponsored events.
• You agree not to use the skatepark whist under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
• You agree to abide by instructions given by skatepark supervisors, staff and stewards at all times.
• Parents/spectators will not be permitted to enter the skating area. Parents wishing to assist their children in the Beginner’s Area should join the session as a paying participant and will be expected to wear appropriate safety equipment.
• Payment must be made prior to participating in any session. Non-payment will be treated as theft.
• No discount will be given when joining a session already in progress.
• No refunds will be made for those leaving a session prematurely.
• Membership is valid for 12 months from the day of purchase. Membership is non-transferable.
• No-refunds will be given for lost, stolen or otherwise unspent pre-paid session passes.
• Forgery of hand stamps, pre-paid passes, Member ID cards, etc. will be treated as theft.
• Central Skatepark assumes no responsibility for the damage, loss or theft of any personal belongings brought into the facility. Personal items should not be left unattended anywhere in or around Central Skatepark premises.
• You use any storage lockers at your own risk.
• Nothing may be left in temporary storage lockers overnight unless explicit permission has been obtained from a supervising member of staff. Long term locker higher is available for this purpose.
• Failure to abide by these generally accepted terms and conditions or to falsify consent information will result in refusal of entry.
• The management reserve the right to refuse entry at any point and to change the terms and conditions of entry.
• You recognise the high risk of injury involved with participation in the various sports undertaken at Central Skatepark and agree to participate at your own risk.
• You agree to waive all liability claims against Central Skatepark, its directors, employees and volunteers for any injuries, ailments or other damage to yourself whilst using The Skatepark other than due to our proven negligence.
